Change
A person can only change if he or she wants to change and is mature enough to change.
I learned to never try to change a person. It won’t work. You can preach, you can advise, you can nag, you can inspire, but all those words will be futile if the person just doesn’t want to or have it in them to change. If they’re immature, they’re gonna be immature until they grow...

My little 8 year old brother never ceases to amaze me. As little as he is, he is more mature than any young boy I’ve seen his age. I never really think he pays attention to my conversations with others, but he does, and he thinks. One day recently he sat beside me quietly with a box of tissues while I was really upset and talking to my friend. Who knew he would be listening.

Damn, the chapter is over. I’m stuck reading the last few words on the last page, over and over again, trying very intently on interpreting the chapter and how it relates to the book. The end had such a twist I did not see coming. It was the longest chapter in the book so far, so it’s bittersweet that it’s at an end. It had its high blissful times coupled with its heartwrenching...
